Viking Race is coming to Fredrikstad in November 2015!
Viking Race Miðgarðr 5k
"Mankind Knows Little."
Viking Race Miðgarðr is the entry level version of Viking Race and an introduction to obstacle course racing. This 5k version of Viking Race has a 100% completion rate and is perfect for first time racers. However, even though this is the shortest and "easiest" version of Viking Race, elite athletes will still be challenged!
Hailing back to The Hannibal War (Hannibalsfeiden), Kongsten Fortress will provide new and unique grounds for obstacle course racing (OCR). How about scaling down a cargo net suspended from the fortress wall?
As a shieldmaiden or berserker you will start on "the hidden road" and run straight up into the fortress where you will face known and unknown Viking Race obstacles (or reflection burpees).

At Kongsten Fortress, aka "The Swedish Scare", we also hope to see many Swedish Vikings travelling back to the future (you know, the 1600s were the future back in the good ol' Viking days) to try their luck again at Kongsten!
